Photographers I Follow

It has been well over a year since I got serious about my digital photography.  I have spent a lot of that time learning what I can from the amazing online community of photographers.  One of the most amazing things about the photography community is the abundance of phenomenal photographers out there who are willing to impart their vast knowledge base to the masses.

So, I present to you the photographers I follow as well as some insight into why, if you are at all serious about digital photography, you should follow them too!

why you should follow him: Scott Bourne is not only one of the most amazing wildlife photographers alive today, he is one of the most insightful and helpful guys in the business.  Follow his podcast: PhotoFocus

why you should follow him: Scott Kelby is one of the most prolific photographers in the business.  He has a vast array of spectacular books and training DVDs.  Also check out his video podcast Dtown and his training site Kelby Training.

why you should follow him: If you are looking for a photography book, Rick has published more than 30!  Some of them are pretty good, too!  Also, this is the guy to go to for underwater photography.

why you should follow him: If you are interested in flash photography, especially if you are a Nikon shooter, Joe is your guy.  His book “Hot Shoe Diaries” is simply amazing.  Oh yeah, he’s also an amazing photog!

why you should follow him: Trey Ratcliff is a pioneer in modern photography techniques.  He has taken HDR photography to the next level.  He is also a really cool guy!
